Seaside Rum and Chocolate Tasting - March 2023
The third Carpe Noctis tasting event: We gathered at Matheson Hammock south of Brickell to have this sunset rum and dark chocolates tasting by the oceanside.
Rum expert and proud Venezuelan Dary Ruiz led our tasting with class, comedy, and more than a few shots and cocktails of exquisite aged rums.
The Night Market - Monthly Starting Jan 2023
The first Carpe Noctis vendors event: the now-monthly Night Market at Savage Labs Wynwood. Theme focuses on a waking nightmare vibe.
Local alternative and street fashion designers, jewelers, and artists present and sell their work.
Food and craft cocktails kept guests sated while a live DJ maintained conversational vibes and an approachable dance floor and bar.
Tequila Tasting & Dinner - Dec 2022
We gathered in a private event space in Edgewater to learn about the mythology, origins, and types of tequila through a tasting paired with small plates of food. To finish, we had fresh passion fruit cocktails while socializing.
Artisanal Mezcal Tasting - Nov 2022
Mezcal is smoky sister to tequila with rich origins in the Oaxaca region of Mexico. Like tequila, it is distilled from agave, but unlike tequila, mezcal gets a unique, complex, smokey flavor from the slow cooking of the agave plants before the distilling process begins.
We gathered at Baby Jane in Brickell (across from the Icon Hotel) to join an expert guided tasting of SACRVM's artisanal mezcals while enjoying asian fusion appetizers provided by Baby Jane. We finished the event with an included mezcal-based craft cocktail and time to socialize and ask the SACRVM mezcal experts questions.
The guided mezcal tasting, delicious appetizers, and craft cocktail were all included with a ticket.
